It seems like the perfect time to remind you that, as part of the spring cleaning ritual, it’s improtant to check on how your baby’s body care products have weathered the winter. Most personal care products have about a 12-24 month shelf life if they are kept in ideal conditions (meaning not too hot, not too cold and perfectly dry). Knowing how we roll, body care products are often kept in the diaper bag as well as the bathroom, which can create a less-than-ideal environment.
Signs your products many have gone off? They may look or smell ‘off’ and the original consistency may be a distant memory. Use your instinct and toss anything that might be old, and therefore, a potential skin irritant for your baby.
Out with the old, in with spring!
